Privacy Policy

What we collect, and why.

Written plainly, because a privacy policy nobody can read protects nobody.

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

Novelve, an online store selling digital products.

What we collect

  • Order information — your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), billing address, and the products you bought. Provided by you at checkout.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Shopify. We can see the last four digits and card type. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Device and usage information — IP address, browser, device type, referring site, and the pages and products you view. Collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Advertising and measurement data — records of your activity on our site (pages viewed, items added to cart, checkouts started, and purchases, including order value and items) shared with the advertising partners listed below so they can measure and improve ad performance.
  • Communications — anything you send us by email.

Why we collect it

To process your order, deliver your download, provide support, prevent fraud, meet our tax and accounting obligations, understand which parts of the site work, and measure and improve our advertising.

Who processes it

  • Shopify hosts this store and processes payments. Their handling of your data is covered by Shopify's privacy policy.
  • Our email provider — to send your download link and order confirmation.

Advertising and analytics partners

We use pixels, tags, and conversion tools from the companies below to measure and optimize our advertising and to understand site traffic. Depending on the tool and your consent, these may set cookies and receive your IP address, device and browser details, the pages and products you view, items added to cart, and whether you completed a purchase (including order value and items).

Hashed identifiers (advanced matching). To match your activity to an ad more accurately, some of these partners also receive a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of identifiers you provide at checkout, such as your email address and phone number. This may be sent from your browser and/or server-to-server through Shopify (for example, through a partner's Conversions or Events API).

  • Google — Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager, to understand site traffic, deploy measurement tags, and measure and optimize advertising. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the Meta Pixel and, where enabled, the Conversions API, to measure and optimize advertising on Facebook and Instagram, including hashed email and phone number for advanced matching. See Meta's privacy policy.
  • TikTok — the TikTok Pixel, Events API, and Advanced Matching, to measure and optimize advertising on TikTok, including hashed email and phone number. See TikTok's privacy policy.
  • Snapchat — the Snap Pixel and, where enabled, the Conversions API and Advanced Matching, to measure and optimize advertising on Snapchat, including hashed email and phone number. See Snap's privacy policy.
  • Pinterest — the Pinterest Tag and, where enabled, the Conversions API, to measure and optimize advertising on Pinterest, including a hashed version of your email address. See Pinterest's privacy policy.

Each of these partners acts as an independent controller of the data it receives and uses it in accordance with its own privacy policy and its agreement with us. We share this information only to measure, run, and improve our own advertising.

Sale or sharing of personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the advertising cookies and identifiers described above may qualify as a sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising under California (CCPA/CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws. You can opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices (also linked at the bottom of every page) or by emailing legal@novelve.com. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals where required.

Cookies and consent

We use cookies that are necessary for the store to function (cart, checkout, login) and — with your consent where required — analytics and advertising cookies from the partners listed above. Where the law requires consent (for example, in the EU and UK), these advertising and analytics tools load only after you agree through our cookie-consent banner, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also refuse or delete cookies in your browser, but the store may not work properly without the necessary ones.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes, generally seven years. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention settings of the partners above. Email correspondence is kept until it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of your data, or object to certain processing. Email legal@novelve.com and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

International transfers

We operate in the United States, and our service providers and advertising partners may process data there and elsewhere. Where required, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Children

This store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
